We know the thought of abseiling can be intimidating, but taking on a challenge like this will not only see you conquer your fears but help to raise much needed funds for our hospitals.

You don’t need any prior experience or be a seasoned daredevil- our experienced instructors will guide you every step of the way, ensuring your safety and comfort throughout the challenge.

FAQ’s

Absolutely! You can raise money to support the ward, department or speciality that means the most to you. It’s best to get in touch with us first and let us know where you would like to direct your fundraising and we will ensure we put it towards the fund of your choice. 

We will be on hand to support you every step of the way- from signing up, to creating your fundraising page to the event day where you will Abseil down St Helier. We can support by creating bespoke posters and leaflets, an email signature, provide you with a collection tin, and some charity leaflets. Just let us know what you might need, and we will do our best to support in any way we can.

We set minimum sponsorship targets to cover the costs of securing event places and to maximise the funds raised for our hospitals. If the minimum amount isn’t met, there is a risk of the charity losing money on organising the event, and in some cases, you may not be able to take part.

We suggest setting aside two hours for completion of the Abseil. We will require you to arrive 30 minutes prior to your time slot and then the slots will be 1 hour long. It will differ depending on if you are the first to abseil in your slot, or the last.

Absolutely, we encourage as many NHS staff to take part as possible and remember, you can fundraise directly for the ward or department that you work in. Why not even sign up as part of a team of up to 8 people.

Of course- there is nothing better than experiencing our Abseil St Helier than with friends, family or colleagues. Each time slot can hold up to 8 people, so sign up together and you will Abseil together.
