Epsom and St Helier Hospitals Charity in partnership with the Trust are proud to announce our brand new small grants programme to address health inequalities.
Our Trust and the wider gesh group are committed to tackling the health inequalities that shape access to, experience of, and outcomes from healthcare across our local population. These inequalities arise from an intersecting range of factors including socioeconomic deprivation, ethnicity, language barriers, mental health needs, physical or learning disabilities, and geography. Together, these factors contribute to delayed presentation, reduced engagement with services, fragmented care, and poorer health outcomes for individuals and communities with the greatest need.
Epsom and St Helier Hospital Charity is launching a small grants programme to fund projects that address health inequalities faced by our patients across the Trust. There is a total of £20,000 available to fund a number of initiatives to help address inequalities in healthcare. Our aim is to fund innovative, frontline projects that reduce health inequalities among our patient populations.
